Anthony Joshua has confirmed that he will face American Jermaine Franklin at the O2 Arena in April.

The fight will be the first in Joshua’s new five-year partnership with DAZN, with his April bout included in the streaming service’s $9.99 monthly subscription.

I feel mentally and physically prepared, Joshua stated.

I want to put on a show and impress my coach, who has high expectations. Franklin has a good style and a great attitude, as evidenced by his recent fights.

This will be my first DAZN fight broadcast in the UK, and it will be available globally on the platform.

I’d like to thank DAZN for their support of both myself and the sport of boxing in general. I’d also like to thank the 258 and Matchroom Boxing teams.
