Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia has come under intense scrutiny after sharing a video ahead of her 40th birthday celebration on November 13, 2024, raising eyebrows among fans and followers.
Annie, the wife of legendary singer, 2Baba in a viral video wore a big black hoodie, a cap, and sunglasses as she talked about her life and accomplishments.
She admitted she still has some goals to reach but showed gratitude for what she’s achieved so far. However, her unusual smile and gestures have raised concern among fans.
Reacting to the video, Netizens questioned whether the rumors about Annie’s substance use might be true, especially given her appearance in the video.

In 2022, Annie Macaulay Idibia’s elder brother, Wisdom Macaulay, publicly called her out on Instagram. He claimed that despite working for her for years, Annie refused to pay him fairly, instead offering small amounts like N20k or N30k and treating him like a servant.
Wisdom further alleged that his financial struggles prevented him from paying the dowry for his girlfriend, the mother of his three children. He also described Annie as a violent person.
He went on to claim that Annie introduced him to drugs, alleging that she is addicted herself. Wisdom also accused her of being highly troublesome and even sending armed men to threaten him, warning that she should be held accountable if anything happens to him.
