Anita Joseph boasts about her inter-tribal marriage and urges for national unity in Nigeria

Nollywood actress, Actress Anita Joseph, popularly known as Mother Hen, has urged for national unity among Nigerians and highlighted her marriage to a Yoruba man as a source of pride.

Taking to her Instagram page, Anita Joseph shared a picture and video of herself and her husband, Fisayo Olagunji, known as MC Fish, to relay her message.

Anita, known for her controversial remarks, stated that she is a proud citizen of Anambra and is in an unbreakable bond with her Yoruba husband. She cautioned against tribalism and mentioned that her children cannot be referred to as Igbos since their father is not one.

She wrote:

“I’m an Anambra Chick married to a Yoruba Man. An alliance no one can break or stop. So tomorrow, someone will say my children are Igbo. Ndi nkoyeri 😁 swipe in peace, Shallom 🤍 At the end one Nigerian #chinedum oh 💚 Eluuuuuu p 88 we moveee”

Anita’s post comes following a series of tribal disagreements that sprung up on social media over the support of Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rohdes Vivour (GRV).

While many noted that they would vote him in as the next governor of Lagos State than have the sitting Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu return to office for alleged incompetence in the area of security in the state; The Yoruba’s disagreed noting that Gbadebo is not purely Yoruba because his mother his Igbo.
