Some however are made of furs while others feather. The creative director who happen to put the need of his loyal customers first produced some remarkable designs which will leave you astonished.
He amps up the opulence this season with metallic antique gold, copper brocade, jewel tones, and embellishments like vintage lace, plumes, and jeweled details reminiscent of vintage Boucheron. (“Husbands love my pieces because they don’t require any additional jewelry,” he explained.)
A simple ’60s shift, for example, in rich greens ranging from avocado to emerald, is trimmed with dyed-to-match rhinestones. A white, flared cheongsam with puff sleeves and lace polka dots inspired by the Viennese Secession could be worn.
