Nollywood actor, Stanley Nweze has dropped his opinion on what the new AMVCA name should be.
The actor who made this known via his Instagram stories stated that actors from other areas are not recognized so the name should be changed.
According to the actor, the organisers to change the name of the event to Lasgidi/Lagos awards because there are lots of good actors and crew members in other areas under the same Nollywood that are not recognised.

Making a case for Enugu and Asaba actors, Stanley Nweze suggested that AMVCA should have a commercial category, saying that if skit/online catrgory can be added to the award category, then commercial actors should not be left behind.
