Bow Wow and Ja Rule, two American hip-hop singers, have expressed their appreciation for the booming Nigerian/West African music genre afrobeats, glamsquad reports
In separate interviews with Black Entertainment Television at the BET Awards on Sunday, the duo praised afrobeats while expressing respect and appreciation for two of the genre’s poster boys, Burna Boy and Tems.

Bow Wow stated that he like the afrobeats mood and how ladles dance to afrobeats songs.
“Anytime the ladies move to the [afrobeats] songs, they are lit,” he remarked. I really like the feel. For me, I enjoy listening to afrobeats while I’m on the boat and the sun is setting about 7:30 p.m. It’s fantastic. “I like Burna Boy’s new album.”
Ja Rule, for one, says he feels at home when he listens to afrobeats music.
“I love Tems, I love Burna Boy,” Ja Rule stated. It [afrobeats] feels wonderful to me. It seems like home when I listen to music.”
