In a recent interview on Rolling Stone magazine, American Pop star Shawn Mendes opened up about his secrets and affairs from addressing rumors that he’s gay to telling the truth about his relationship with Hailey Baldwin.
Mendes said the scrutiny and speculation about his personal life cause him stress. “I’d like to say I don’t care about it, but that’s not true …. This massive, massive thing for the last five years about me being gay.”
In 2016, Shawn Mendes had earlier addressed rumors on Snapchat, saying, “First of all, I’m not gay. Second of all, it shouldn’t make a difference if I was or if I wasn’t. The focus should be on the music and not my sexuality.”
Mendes took to instagram to share the cover of the magazine with a caption:
Of course i have my insecurities and struggles but that’s just one part of me. Sometimes the positive side of a story doesn’t always get fully told and I wish it had here. I love what i do and i love you guys so much ❤️
