Ali Jita was born into the family of Alhaji Sallau Jibrin Kibiya, who is a butcher, and his mother Hajiya Ummul-Khairi in the Gyadi Gyadi region of Kumbotso local government in ‘Kano State, Nigeria. He was raised in the Shagari district of Gyadi Gyadi. When he was still a boy, his father relocated with the family from Kano to Lagos, then to Abuja because of his business, Ali Jita started his kindergarten/primary education in the Shagari neighborhoods. He then completed his primary and secondary education at Bonikam Barracks on Victoria Island, Lagos state. He completed his secondary education in Abuja.
He continued his studies at the Federal College of Education in Kano, where he obtained the National Diploma in Public Administration. He also studied computer science at the Intersystem ICT School, where he earned a degree.
CAREER
Most of Ali Jita’s songs were used in the Kannywood film industry, but some of his albums were sold to other Hausa film industries. Its associates include Nazifi Asnanic, Fati Niger, Naziru M Ahmad, etc. He also teamed with Umar M Shareef and produced a song called Mama.
Ali Jita’s song titled Love was chosen as the Second Best Hausa Music of the Year in 2018 by BBC Hausa.Ali Jita uses the Ingausa music style, a combination of Hausa and English. He uses the style to write and sing music. In 2019, he produced the official video of Angel Arewa with Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau, he also produced another official music video titled Love with actress Hadiza Gabon. He also organized a celebration of sallah.
