Yomi Fabiyi was born in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is the second child of his parents and was born and raised in the Shomolu Local Government Area in Lagos State, Nigeria. Yomi received his basic primary education in Shomolu, where he and his parents reside. After primary school he went to Igbobi College also in Shomolu. Information on Yomi Fabiyi’s higher education is not currently available, but it can be said that he is highly educated due to his fluency in the English language and his exposure.
CAREER
Yomi started acting in 2001 after being introduced to comedy by famous actor Baba Suwe. He made his first film “Obelomo”, a film he presented alongside Toyin Abraham. The film became famous and recognized in Nollywood. Since then, he has starred in over 100 films, including Ebi Iku, Metomi, Omi Adagun, Ona Abayo and others. Outstanding notables he works with include Ayo Mogaji, Jide Kosoko, Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka), Kemi Afolabi, Desmond Elliot and other celebrities.
He is a creative, skillful and exceptionally talented Nollywood actor. He’s good at movie roles and can also take on any character given to him in most movies. He appears in the English and Yoruba genres.
