Superstar Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, was named Artiste of the Year at the 2021 edition of the All Africa Music Categories (AFRIMA), as well as winning two other awards.
This comes only a week after she won the Best African Act award at the BET Awards 2021.
AFRIMA is an annual event that honours the accomplishments of artists and vocalists from all across Africa.
The show was hosted by Eddie Kadi and Pearl Thusi, and witnessed singing performances from Patoranking, Chike, Olakira, D’banj among others.
Wizkid won three awards out of the four nominations he got in this year’s AFRIMA.

Best Artiste or Duo in African Dance or Choreography – Favour alongside Diamond Platnumz and Fally Ipupa
