Adire Oodua Textile Hub

The goal of the Adire Oodua Textile Hub is to conserve the age-old Yoruba craft of adire, a textile method with profound cultural meaning. It was by chance that it became connected to Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL). The creator of both organizations, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi, understood the value of preserving cultural history and giving designers access to a consistent source of genuine fabric.

She established a connection between the Hub and AFWL by happening to be in the right place at the right time, guaranteeing that African designers have access to traditional, high-quality textiles while advancing African fashion on a worldwide scale.
