American rapper and singer, Durk Derrick Banks, known professionally as Lil Durk, and his girlfriend of four years, India Royale, are engaged.
At a concert in their hometown of Chicago, the rapper proposed.
The Chicago music act pulled Royale out on stage during his act at WGCI’s Big Jam concert at the United Center.
He got down on one knee and said, “I adore you to the point of death. You’ve been there for me while I’ve been through a lot.”
“To me, you’ve been the most authentic,” the artist concluded. “Would you like to be my wife?”
The crowd erupted in applause, and Royale, a model, social media personality, and entrepreneur behind a beauty company advertised in the rapper’s lyrics, answered yes.
The pair is parents to a little girl.
