Nigerian singer, better known as Adekunle Gold has playfully revealed that while everything else in his life is flourishing, his loyalty to Manchester United remains the only thing struggling.
In a light-hearted video shared by his wife, Simi, the father of one joked that while every other aspect of his life is thriving, his experience as a Manchester United fan is the only thing falling short.
He said,
“Everything in my life is going well, flourishing, and thriving except Manchester United. They’re the only problem I have in my life.”
Earlier this year, Adekunle Gold penned an appreciation post to singer and record label boss, Olamide.
Adekunle Gold took to his X page to appreciate Olamide as he celebrates eight years of being in the music industry and the release of his first album ‘Gold’.
Adekunle Gold shared a picture of his first album cover and track list and thanked Olamide for giving him chance not just as a young graphic designer to design his YBNL logo but also an opportunity to be a part of the record label.
Reacting, Olamide retweets the appreciation post and declared Adekunle Gold as his family. He wrote “Fam for life.”
A few weeks ago, Adekunle God also celebrated 4 years of his career-changing album Vol.1.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Adekunle Gold reflected on the pivotal decision to release his album, marking a turning point in his career. He emphasized how the album had transformed his journey and expressed deep gratitude to his fans, crediting their unwavering support for its success.
He wrote,
“Four years ago today, I took the biggest leap of my career and created Afro Pop Vol 1. It was a journey filled with fear and uncertainty, but it transformed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.”
