Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress, has set the record right after receiving numerous congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues on the purchase of a new car and house.

Toyin Abraham posted a photo of herself standing with a car on Instagram, along with the elbow and love emojis.

Many of her admirers and coworkers flooded her comment area, and DM complimented her on her new accomplishment.

Toyin Abraham, in a now-deleted post, responded by saying she didn’t buy a new car or house, but it was a bargain she signed.

She wrote: I didn’t buy a new car or house, please. It’s a deal I signed.

Glamsquadmagazine recalls that Toyin Abraham reacted on why she didn’t make the recently released nominee list for the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

The actress revealed this while answering a fan’s query on why she was ignored by the academy.

The fan wrote: “Ma pls I’m saying respectfully and I’m sorry for saying this @toyin_abraham I don’t seems to get why you are not getting any nominations for the amicable award we all need an explanation as a fan pls”.

Surprisingly, Toyin Abraham responded by correcting the record.

She admitted that she did not submit her film The Ghost and The Tout Too to the Academy, and as a result, it was disqualified.

Toyin Abraham took time to emphasize that only films submitted to the academy were eligible for nominations.

She reminded the admirer that she had won an award the previous year, which was plenty for her.

Toyin Abraham also advised fans to focus on this year’s nominees and offer them their full support.

Toyin Abraham wrote;

“Film submitted are nominated and if you don’t submit they won’t nominate you. I hope that answers your questions and last year I got nominated and win donuts not all the time so let’s focus on this year’s nominee cos they all deserves it. Much love”.
