Actress, Kate Henshaw congratulates Tobi Amusan on her win

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has sent her congratulation to Tobi Amusan for winning the 100m hurdles gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Tobi Amusan who won in the Commonwealth Games with a record  of 12.30 seconds has received a lot of praise from Nigerians.

One amongst many who have congratulated her is Actress, Kate Henshaw.

In a Tweet on Twitter on Sunday, Kate Henshaw congratulated the 25-year-old and said the competitor is breaking down all barriers and would continue to succeed despite everything. It reads:

“All is SHE DOES is win win win NO MATTER WHAT!!Tobi Amusan. Ripping through..Tearing down every barrier.”

Tobi’s win comes two weeks after she won the gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA.

Nigerian singer Paul Play, among other Nigerians, took to Instagram on Monday morning, July 25 to applaud Amusan on the feat and chastise Nigerian leaders for their “failure”. He wrote:

“I am African, I’m proud, feel no shame or stress to say it loud !!! As our failure-infested leaders, keep letting us down. Let the athletes, musicians, actors, academicians, activists, and entertainers keep lifting us up. We won’t stop.”
