A temporary restraining order has been granted to actress, Ambyr Childers against her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, due to concerns of pedophilia and child endangerment.
On December 22, 2022, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ordered Irishman producer Randall Emmett, 51, to stay 100 yards away from the ‘You’ actress Ambyr Childers, 34, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The judge also prohibited Emmett from contacting Childers, except for brief and peaceful interactions related to the visitation of their two daughters, London and Rylee, who are 12 and 8 years old, respectively.
Emmett is also the father of a 21-month-old daughter, Ocean, with his ex-fiancée Lala Kent.
Weeks ago, Ambyr Childers petitioned for a restraining order against her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, claiming that she had been contacted by an FBI agent regarding his suspected involvement in child exploitation and pedophilia, according to the L.A. Times.
Emmett strongly denied these allegations in a statement to the outlet. The restraining order was granted by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge on December 22, 2022.
In her petition for a restraining order, Ray Donovan alum Ambyr Childers stated that she experienced “extreme destruction and disturbance” of her emotional well-being after being contacted by an FBI agent about her ex-husband’s suspected involvement in child exploitation and pedophilia.
She added that her daughters are often alone with Emmett and that she does not want to risk their presence if federal law enforcement were to serve an arrest or search warrant on him or his premises.
Meanwhile, Randall Emmett has denied the allegations made by his ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, calling them “disgusting and untrue.” He stated that he was “shocked and in utter disbelief” at the claims and emphasized that there is “zero evidence” that he is being investigated for any wrongdoing. Emmett also denied that he is being investigated by the FBI or any other agency, calling the idea “beyond absurd.”
“When will you get some real money together so we can take this c—t out once and for all. This is not good for your girls,” Emmett’s attorney allegedly wrote, to which the Florida native purportedly replied, “I don’t have real money for this and you know it.”
In her petition for a restraining order, Ambyr Childers claimed that her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, used to threaten her by putting his hand around her neck and telling her that she could never get away from him. These alleged incidents occurred before the couple divorced.
The actress initial restraining order request was denied by a judge, citing insufficient evidence.
One month after Ambyr Childers filed for a restraining order against him, Randall Emmett filed court documents alleging that Lala Kent (whose real name is Lauren Burningham) and Childers were conspiring against him.
“I believe that Ambyr and Lauren are working together in [an] attempt to destroy my reputation to give them both an advantage for custody,” he alleged at the time, in documents obtained by Us.
