Actor Williams Uchemba calls for peace following outcome of presidential election

Williams Uchemba, a Nigerian actor, has given Nigerians cause for optimism as he appeals for peace amid the mounting tension surrounding the 2023 presidential election.

Williams Uchemba published a tribute to Nigeria and its people on his Instagram page.

The actor asserted that rather than hating Nigeria, he now awoke as a proud Nigerian.

The father of one went on to say that when millions of Nigerians spoke with one voice on February 25, he recognized how God had answered prayers for unity.

Because he is on the side of the Lord, Williams Uchemba advised Nigerians to maintain their composure and wait.

In his words;

“My fellow Nigerians, Today I woke as a proud Nigerian. I woke up loving my country more instead of hating it.

“I woke up happy to know that I have brothers and sisters in all the 36 states of this country, people that believe in the same dream, vision and future for our beloved country Nigeria. I woke up realizing that God had finally answered our long-term prayer, which is UNITING us together as a nation with one voice which we saw on the 25th of February in the 178,000 pulling Units. , ( it has never happened before).

“Do not be dismayed, and let your heart not be troubled WE WON, and you made that possible. We will not riot and destroy our properties. No, we will hold our peace as we have been instructed and WAIT. Whatever you do, know that THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD, and I am glad that I am on the Lord’s side.”
