Keanu Reeves, a Canadian actor, recalled the awkward moment he filmed a sex scene with director Eli Roth’s wife Lorenza Izzo while he was watching, glamsquad reports
The John Wick actor, 58, revealed the awkward moment on Jimmy Kimmel Live after they co-starred in the 2015 thriller Knock Knock.
Keanu plays a man who is seduced by two mysterious young women (Lorenza and Ana De Armas), only to be drawn into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse when they turn on him.
During the film, Keanu’s character is dragged into a threesome with the two women, and The Matrix star admitted that filming the scenes with Lorenza was initially awkward because her then-husband Eli was directing the film.
When asked if the scenes were uncomfortable to film, Keanu replied, ‘Not for me, Jimmy.’
He added that he initially thought the scene was “weird,” but worked with Eli to try to alleviate any outward tension during filming.
‘Eli created a wonderful environment of trust and rehearsals, but eventually, you have to get naked, simulate, and do…’ Keanu informed Jimmy.
‘I wasn’t that guy who was like, “Hey Eli, your wife is hot,” he added, imitating a sinister voice…
“I can’t wait for this sex scene,” you know, every day. Lorenza looks fantastic today.’
Keanu thanked director Eli and the film’s producers for their help during the awkward filming moment.
After five years of marriage, Lorenza divorced Eli in 2019.
