The aftermath of separation or divorce is not a tale worth telling for many as the grass on which ex-lovers stand always suffers.
In this case, Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke took to his Instagram story to unveil his reality two years after he divorced his wife, Chidere.
The father of two said following his divorce announcement, he became aware of the widespread impact of failed marriages on men and their children. He revealed receiving messages on this topic and expressed a question.

Addressing mothers, Okeke urged single mothers to view the fathers of their children as human beings and not just sources of financial support after a failed marriage. He emphasized the significance of having fathers in children’s lives.
He wrote:
“It’s on the announcement of My Seperation/Divorce that i realized that so many men are going through and enduring a litany of ills as an offshoot of a failed marriage, leaving the the kids in tow, as Victims. My DM has messages to boot.
“But i need to ask… What Therapy is reserved or advised for Men who find themselves backed up in this corner? ls speaking up a “shame thing”?
“Does WORK or the advice of going back to WORK really douse the pain?
“Kids are definitely a “mumu button” to the Man who has NOT abandoned his kids and his responsibilities to them. Suddenly all your are good enough for, is FEES. But your seeds still lack their vitamin DADDY ! DAMN!!! Be HUMANE! Be HUMANE !! Be HUMANE!!!”
Gideon Okeke’s ex-wife, Chidera reacts to his post, issues stern warning to him
Chidera, the ex-wife of Gideon Okeke reacted to his alleged shade about how single mothers treat the father of their children.
On her Instagram story, the mother of two said she is not ready to comment on her ex-husband’s rant.
She added that there will be no holding back once she starts spilling their secrets.
Chidera also criticized Gideon for portraying himself as the victim when he was the one who mistreated her during their marriage. She accused him of having ‘stomped’ on her.
“If I start to talk! Hmmmmmm… There will be no holding back. Because the millipede that was stomped on did not scream, but the foot that stomped on it keeps screaming “my foot, my foot” (its sweet in Igbo sha, but, you get the gist lol).
But my people say that, “Adiro ibuo ayi ala”, so I’ll be the bigger person, as ALWAYS and keep livng life.”
