A Retrospective Of Tracy Nwapa’s LFDW Style

Tracy Nwapa like all truly successful Lagos socials was seated front row throughout Lagos Fashion and Design Week,  getting an upclose look at each collection. Not only did she look genuinely excited when Di’ja burst out in one of her less famous songs during her Sunny Rose Catwalk Performance; Tracy seemed engaged and participatory the whole way through. Enthusiastic fashion spirit aside, like all true fashion students, Tracy brought her A style-game every single day of the 2017 Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week. The Interior Designer/Hair Entrepreneur was serving up a very versatile style game on all 4 days of Fashion’s biggest event in the city of Lagos.

Tracy split 4 looks between 2 Creatives. Day 1 and Day 4 was all Ilare. Spotting an all red look on Day 1 and closing off Fashion Week off on Day 4 in a boxy lace and leathery look; Tracy made a very good case for the design house which she very recently collaborated with on a capsule collection. Day 2 & 3 was the handiwork of the mysterious satorialist code named ‘Bukky’. While Bukky is likely not a codename, it’s definitely the ambiguous way Tracy chooses to refer to her bespoke tailor who she’s no doubt stashed somewhere far from the prying hands of the public. Can you blame the girl though? I took one look at the adorable fluffy turquoise dress and understood why Bukky is simply Bukky.

I would launch into a detailed description of the outfits but then Pictures are worth a thousand words, so enjoy!
