Alas, my fashion lovers, we meet again. Yes, yes, you guessed it! This is infact another exciting week where I share with you what everyone is just dying to wear. Wanna see? Oh, pipe down. Give me a minute. The month of March begins! New months, new trends, so the saying goes. (so MY saying goes anyway).
Very quickly, I will indulge you, on three items youd definitely want to don.
1- BIG AFRICAN PRINT BANGLES.
Who would have thought? I asked myself the same question! Who would have thought Africans would start giving white folk a run for their money when it came to fashion. It seems that everybody wants to add a little Africa to their wardrobe these days and I absolutely love it! Don’t be shy, with a nice little manicure and those bangles, chic may be an understatement
2- TURBANS.
You know the real great thing about turbans? They’re really just a piece of cloth! The beauty of fashion, my dear students, is that we learn to take the most ordinary pieces and make them va va voom! Everybody wears turbans these days, they are chic, classy and sooo Sisi Aba Folawiyo (who seems to be timeless, where fashion is concerned). Having a bad hair day? Not to worry, there’s no need for dull, ugly caps.
3- THE SKATER SKIRT.
Now who says you gotta have the body of a goddess exactly? The skater skirt is back people! Short, loose, the most comfortable for wear and it gets even better! Because of the fitted band at the waist and the pleats that make it hang around your hips, it gives one quite the silhouette. Be careful though, this piece may make an older women look a tad childish.
