For her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle wowed the world dressed in an impressively boat-necked wedding gown. The gown was designed by Claire Waight Keller for Givenchy.
2: Rihanna’s yellow fur-trimmed gown:
Another Iconic gown moment is the yellow fur trimmed gown worn by Rihanna for the 2015 Met Gala themed: China: Through the Looking Glass. Her fur trimmed gown which was designed by Guo Pei became so popular that it was made into a meme as an omelette, a pizza and a bowl of pasta.

3: Princess Diana’s revenge dress:
Princess Diana stepped out in a black mini dress designed by Christina Stambolian the night after Prince Charles admitted on television to his affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles. the black mini dress was however titled the revenge dress for its reason.
4: Audrey Hepburn black dress:
one of the iconic gown moments ever is the black Hubert de Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. the dress was said to have been altered by a custom designer so it won’t show many legs. In the film, the dress is worn with a pearl necklace by Roger Scemama and worn alongside long black evening gloves.
5: Lady Gaga Valentino Haute Couture gown:
In paying homage to Judy Garland, Lady Gaga wore a periwinkle Valentino haute couture gown to the 2019 Golden Globes. After she was nominated as the best actress for her star role in A Star is Born, Gaga chose to wear a dress in the same hue worn by Garland in 1954. They had both played the same role in their different versions of the film.
