ROCKING THE BALD LOOK

In time immemorial this was the ultimate look for women while our warriors were allowed to wear long hair running in the jungle hunting. Flash forward today, everything is verse versa it’s near an abomination for a woman to go bald. While the men, are rearing dreads by the day.

Our celebrities have also increased the hype around this bold look with the likes of Lupita Nyo’ngo , supermodels ; Ajuma Nasenya, Alek Wek and Ajak Deng. Internationally, Natalie Portman, Amber Rose and Jessie J have also tried this look.

So, what does it take to dare rock this ‘taboo’ look? Well nothing, unless you were born with no hair cells, which is literally impossible. It remains only to enhance it.

Bald or short hair is pretty easy to keep clean and neat because it is easy to wash. A cut and not just any other but a well thought out artsy cut is great to enhance your look. Find a barber who is passionate with his work and tell him what you are looking to achieve with your look. Lastly if you are hoping to turn heads find a color that suits your skin tone. Lucky for you they are various options out there that are both temporary and permanent. Have fun with it.
