Shakira celebrated her 43rd birthday by performing for a crowd of 62,000 (plus some 100 million tuning in worldwide) at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. Dressed in custom Dundas, she kicked off the show with high-energy renditions of her brilliantly bonkers Noughties hits “Hips Don’t Lie” and “She Wolf”, throwing in a guitar solo, a stage dive, and a viral tongue wagging moment that left the internet equal parts confused and thrilled. It was quite the party.

“Waiting for Tonight”, “Ain’t It Funny”, “Get Right”… After picking up the baton from Shakira, Lopez – clad in clinging Versace leather emblazoned with Swarovski crystals – treated the ecstatic crowd to a barnstorming mash-up of her greatest chart moments from the past 20 years. The only person who enjoyed it more than Lopez’s fiancé Alex Rodriguez was Cardi B, who was filmed singing along to “Jenny From The Block” in a VIP box.
