The singer launched a ‘VOTE NOT FIGHT’ aimed at sensitizing the youths and electoral candidates on a need to avoid violence during elections. 2face Idibia, embarked on a campaign in Edo State, to sensitize youths on the dangers of Election violence, urging them not to offer themselves as thugs for blood thirsty and power seeking politicians in the upcoming elections in the state.
He has been conferred as the Youth Ambassador for the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and was issued a certificate and medal.
Apart from speaking to the large number of youths who couldn’t just stop applauding, he paid a visit to the Independence Television (ITV) studios where he discussed the ideals of the ‘VOTE NOT FIGHT’ campaign with TV host, Emmanuel Akpolohor.
He then proceeded to Raypower 105.5 FM studios also in Benin city, where he shed more light on the workshop and rally held on the 11th of August, 2016.
