Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has reacted hours after her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi distanced himself from her preferred presidential candidate. Toyin who has from the get go made her intention to back APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted after her spouse distance himself following the recent controversy surrounding her choice.

Taking to his Instagram page the father of one had this to say:
“Good day everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party and the fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that l’m supporting her. So, those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat I did not campaign for any candidate.”
Toyin while reacting some hours later insisted that, her choice of presidential candidate is of her free will and she was not paid to campaign nor vote for any party.
The actress who seems to share and agree with the values of the APC presidential candidate Tinubu, posted what seemed like a prayer and curse at the same time on her Instagram page.
She made a conditional statement in her native language, implying that if she received payment to vote, her fans’ desires (curses) would affect her. Additionally, the mother of one expressed a prayer for protection against death.

She wrote:
“Ti mo ba gba owo, imo yin ase le mi Lori but if it’s just my choice and nothing more gbagbe eni ti o je gbi ko le ku gbi. Emi oluwatoyin dada mi o ni ku gbi ati pe irawo mi ko ni wo omi.”
which roughly translates to: If I collect money, your wish will come to pass on me but if it’s just my choice and nothing more forgetting the person that eats gbi can’t die. I Oluwatoyin good I will not die and my star will not fall into water.
