Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has joined the rest of her colleagues in pledging support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party.
The actress who was selected as Tonte Ibraye’s running mate for the African Democratic Party (ADC) nomination for governor of Rivers State in 2023 took to her verified Instagram profile to explain her decision.

She wrote:
“The upcoming presidential election is one of the most important events in our country’s history. It will determine the future of our nation, and the person we choose to lead us will have a significant impact on our lives. Therefore, it is imperative that we carefully consider the qualifications of each candidate and choose someone who has the competence, experience, and an excellent track record. Therefore I hereby, willingly Give my Unsolicited support to vote rightly for Mr Peter Obi in the up coming presidential election slated for 25th February 2023…”
