PSquare

The legendary Nigerian music duo have been at the forefront of campaigns for Obi and even took their support for him to the campaign ground by performing on stage during his campaign in Lagos State.
Particularly, Peter Okoye of the PSquare group squared off on social media with Seun Kuti, the son of legendary Nigerian musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, for tagging Obi an “opportunist” at the height of campaigns.
PSquare’s campaign for Peter Obi paid off in Lagos State, as he won the state. It remains to be seen whether he will win other federation states as INEC continues to announce results.
Falz

Singer and actor Falz The Bahd Guy has been known to be vocal against bad governance. During the #EndSARS protests in October 2020, Falz was at the forefront of protests demanding the end of SARS and police brutality.
Falz pitched his tent with Peter Obi and stated that the former Anambra State governor is the competent candidate for the position.
On election day, Falz’s voting centre came under violent attack before normalcy was restored, and he voted for Obi. Falz also shared the result of his polling unit online, showing Peter Obi as the winner of the unit.
Mr. Macaroni

The Nigerian comedian is another Nigerian celebrity that led the frontlines during the #EndSARS protests in 2020. Mr. Macaroni, like Falz, campaigned for Obi, the only candidate from the three major political parties who has no history of money laundering, embezzlement, or other corrupt practices. Macaroni also shared the result of his polling unit online, indicating that Peter Obi won.
