2023 Election: Obi votes, laments vote-buying, voter apathy

Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, voted at his Amatutu polling unit in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, glamsquad reports

Obi, who voted around 11:20 a.m., lamented that Nigeria has returned to the era of transactional politics, alleging that vote buying is taking place in the current election.

Obi also bemoaned the state’s low voter turnout. He believes this is because people have lost interest and trust in the system.
