Unilever Nigeria Plc, recently unveiled the winners of the Closeup Cupid Games Campaign in an exclusive ball party, with popular OAP Toke Makinwa and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at Eko Hotel &Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Cupid games is a platform for young individuals to confidently express the extent they would go for love by spinning the ‘Closeup tube’. Entries were shortlisted from the huge numbers of entries received across the country.
Speaking at the event, Brand Building Director Oral and Personal Care Unilever Nigeria Plc, David Okeme said that “ Closeup is happy to be associated with such a competition, as it is an engagement platform for young adults to connect and show their loved ones how much they care, especially at valentine”.
According to him, “Nigerians can only look forward to a more engaging and amazing 2015 Closeup Cupid Games. During the course of the campaign, the weekly winners were rewarded with amazing prizes like beats by Dre headphones and a valentine evening with Nigerian artiste Davido”.
The grande finale was a huge one filled with loads of fun, energy and electrifying performances from popular artists like Davido, YemiAlade, Bez, Adekunle Gold and Dance Na The Main Thing (DNMT).
The winner was presented with a power bike, Hyacinth West the (1st) runner up got a pair of personalized MacBook Air Notepads while Deborah Jesunami, (2nd) runner up took home personalized Ipads.
In a brief interview with winner of the competition Mr. Samuel Adekanmbi, expressed his feelings “ Am so pleased with the brand for giving him such great opportunity. Winning to him was a dream come true”.
The after party was hosted by on air personality Dotun cool with lots performances by various artistes.
