Tech Premier League: itel Mobile Defeat 3C Hub In A Clash Of The Titans Novelty Football Match

Mobile phone giants itel mobile locked horns with popular smartphone retail store, 3C Hub last Saturday for the ultimate trophy of bragging rights.
The match which gave fans and staffs the opportunity to play and have fun was held in the University of Lagos Sports center and ended in favor of itel mobile with a scoreline of 3-1.
Two goals from itel early in the first half ramped up the pressure on 3C Hub before a penalty call to 3C Hub reduced the deficit. With 3C Hub pressing for an equalizer in the second half, itel mobile Marketing manager, Marvin Umebiye sealed the victory with a fantastic 3rd goal amidst jubilation by the itel mobile supporters club.
Both staff and supporters expressed the desire for more of such social events as ‘all work and no play make Jack a dull boy.’ They also noted that the match enhanced relaxation and interaction between the two brands.

 

Speaking at the end of the match, a delighted Oke Umurhohwo who was the itel coach of the day and the Marketing Communications Manager of itel Mobile said,
“The major goal of the tech premier league is to use football to connect our fans and staff. At itel mobile, we hold our fans and customers in high esteem and we want to ensure a continued good relationship with them. Part of this relationship include having events like this and rewarding some of them with mobile phones, accessories and other gadgets whether as players or spectators.”
The most valuable players from both teams went home with a brand new itel P51 smartphones while all other team members got lot of souvenirs courtesy of Oraimo and Carlcare.
