The recent trend in Television for years has got me wondering. This trend is what we know as reality TV. From Big Brother House, to Keeping up with the Khardashians to Girls of the playboy mansion etc. There are so many reality Tv programmes these days.
My question is if you where to have a camera crew in your home with a Director and all the movies making equipments necessary to make a Televsion recording present in your bedroom, dinner and living room, would you act naturally?
The current trend now is having reality shows built around Celebrities and their families which a lot of times are dysfunctional. There is a lot of dirty linen being aired in the public. Another question is exposing your families problems and issues to the entire world for money a way to solve their problems?
Are these syndicated shows scripted? Or do they just go out and be themselves because you usually see them in a room talking privately with an interviewer about whatever scenes they just played out. Anyway I first saw them as a fun way to get into the lives of our favorite Celebrities but now I see it as a dangerous trend of deceit in the media.
