Producer/Performer Pharrell is definitely having one hell of a year this year, in a good way that is. In addition to “Happy“ making history as the first and only song to ever reach number 1 in six different Mediabase radio formats recently according to Cizbeats, the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee has selected our ‘happy’ artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015.
Maureen Schultz spoke a little bit about the new honorees, “We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year,” said, chairman of the selection committee.
This isn’t the only good thing that has happened to Pharrell this year, he was also nominated for an Oscar for his hit “Happy” which was in the movie Despicable Me 2, was added to the cast of The Voice as a mentor, and was given the key to the city from his hometown of Virginia Beach.
Pitbull, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, Kelly Ripa, and Dr.Luke will also be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
