With the increasing demand for teenage actors in the industry now, one of Nollywood’s actors to look up to in the coming years is fast rising 5’9ft actor Theophilus Ayomoh who reminds you of action prolific actor Hanks Anuku at first glance. He has starred in some of the most watched TV series and sitcoms like Basket Mouth‘s Flatmate, Kemi Adetiba‘s yet to be released movie King Of Boys and more. In an exclusive interview with Glamsquad Magazine’s entertainment reporter Chiazor Daniel, Theo Ayomoh opens up on his journies in a fast pace industry.
What was growing up like for you, did you ever think you would one day end up doing movie?
For me, it was extremely easy thanks to my parents, growing up was one big adventure and still is.
How has your growing up influenced your career as an actor?
Right from my childhood have always loved to be an entertainer, I used to be in a dancing/drama group.
Are you a graduate, tell me about your educational background.
I have bachelor degree in business administration and human resources management, from western delta university Oghara, delta state, I graduated 2014.
Which is your first movie and in what year?
My first movie to be featured in was DAZE it was shoot 2016.

Who were your major influences in the movie industry?
Richard Mofe Damijo, Hanks Anuku, Jim Iyke and Ramsey Noah.
Would you regard yourself as a kid actor or a teenage actor?
Teenage actor.
Have you ever been a victim molestation of any kind in the industry?
No have never been a victim.
What movies projects have you been into lately?
King of Boys, Cross Road and Nigerian Prince.
Which movie director do you enjoy working with in Nollywood?
I enjoy working with Kemi Adetiba, and Parkwell Film’s.

You have gained wide acceptance by many after your first movie, how has this helped your acting career?
Acting is all about the continuous strive to learn, to grow and to become better, and it has boost my acting skills and career by featuring in other movie projects.
Tell us a little about you away from the screen?
Theo Ayomoh is from Agbor, Delta state is the last born, of Mr and Mrs G.E Ayomoh, I love dancing, reading and cooking, I take success and failure both with positive attitude, I work as a real estate agent.
What’s your brand as an actor?
Action/Romance.
If you were not into movies, what other career would you have been into?
I would have been into the music industry.
Are you currently in a relationship?
Am single and searching.
Which would you skip for another, a date with a fellow actor or a popular musician?
A date with a popular musician.
Judging from your career and style of act, would you regard yourself as an influence to a lot of people?
Yes, have inspired a lot of people positively through my acting.
Would you expose your body to interpret a character on screen?
Yes, depending on character i am asked to play.
How has social media helped promote your content?
Social media has helped me connect with good movie producers both locally and internationally and it has brought me closer to my fans.
Are you currently under a management company?
No!
What should we expect from you in a couple of months?
More movie projects.
What are your aspirations as an actor and goals for the remaining part of 2018?
I aspire to act in a Hollywood movies and produce my own movies.
What do you have to say to your growing fan base?
Know what you are worth and go get what you are worth, believe in yourself before anyone else does and always put God first in everything you do.
