FAST-RISING comedian Laff Doctor beat nine other comedians to emerge winner of this year’s Alibaba’s ‘Spontaneity’ which held during the ‘January 1st Concert.’
Showing off their ability to quip on random topics, the comedians entertained the audience. A few rounds later, the three comedians who made it to the final now had the audience to decide the eventual winner by making some noise after each comedian stepped out.
Laff Doctor, who quickly became a favourite of the aiudience emerged winner, carting home the brand new car which was presented by Alibaba’s wife; Mary Akpobome. It was also revealed the comedian will get a monthly salary payment for the whole year and an opportunity to work closely with Alibaba.
For the first runner-up, Mary Akpobome announced she and her husband would sponsor his education through university under the boy’s wish.
