KEVIN HART IS ABOUT TO CHANGE THE RAP GAME

Looks like Kevin Hart’s quest to changing the rap got a little more intense as he drops a new hit single and opens up on his new plans in his interview with E! Online.

Today, Motown Records released “Baller Alert,” the new single from Chocolate Droppa, the bar-spitting alter ego of superstar comedian Kevin Hart, which also happens to be the debut single from his upcoming mixtape Kevin Hart presents WHAT NOW? The Mixtape hosted by Chocolate Droppa, dropping (no pun intended) Oct. 7.

But before we get to that, Chocolate Droppa took some time out of his busy schedule to chat with E! News, and share the grand (and gross) story about how his rap name came about, as well as calling out who he’s beefing with in the hip-hop industry.

“You know, people ask me every day, ‘Where did Droppa come from? Where did the name Chocolate Droppa originate from?’ When I was a kid, I loved Milk Duds. Eat ‘em by the pound. And one day them Duds got to my stomach. Had to make an emergency stop at the bathroom, and, ya know, I dropped off a bunch of little duds,” he explains.

“One of my friends saw it. He was like, ‘Aw man, you got a little chocolate droppa in there.’ And that stuck, from that day on, they called me Chocolate Drop. And then it eventually shifted to Chocolate Droppa. I don’t eat Milk Duds no more because they mess up my stomach.”

And, like many big names in the rap world, Chocolate Droppa has found himself in a feud with some fellow emcees. “I beef with ones that run from me. I beef with the artists that don’t respond to my calls. I beef with the artists that act like I don’t exist. I beef with the artists that act like I’m not capable of taking back what’s mine. And that’s a long list, man,” he tells E! News.

“So you think about your favorite artist, you ask yourself if your artist ran from me, you ask yourself is your artist stole my style? The answer to that question is gonna be yes. Yes to all of the above. Stole my manager. Stole my company. Stole my car. I guarantee I can point the finger on the artist that was fully responsible, because we found fingerprints. I’m not pointing no fingers, but if I was Weezy Lil Wayneyou got a lot coming back to you. That’s the only time I ever drove in New Orleans.”

As for who’d win a rap battle between him, Drake and Jay Z? “I don’t think that’s a question. You got a D. You got a J. You do the math. D plus J equals what? No way”
