It’s a good feeling to see vintage styles being recreated with a touch of modern. Emerging Nigerian fashion house is out with a vintage with a bit of modern concept that seems very refreshing and clean. Loved the clogs and strappy used to style the collection, the hair might have been a miss but one can see the direction the styling was themed towards.
According to the designer ;
“UVIE” out of royalty. A proud Urhobo daughter, an Amazon, who bestrode the striking landscape like a colossus. She did Urhobo proud and walked tall. Efforts have been made to destroy her by envious competitors she was and still is our heroine. Adorned with the treasures of urhobo people, with pearls and beads adorably beautiful.
