It is no news that Davido, like many other guys prefer to buy expensive stuff for his team members and provide for them rather than give cash; this however seems not to go well with some members of his crew who desperately need cash to settle personal bills (don’t we all?). News making the rounds confirms that Davido has cried out that his team members steal from him.
This allegation came a day after he posted yet another photo of stacks of dollars; in his sequel post, he shared a caption that read “Oh lord, keep me calm; they [are] stealing my money now.”
In April, after he bagged the N100 million-Pepsi deal, he revealed he went diamond shopping for each member of his team. The news was weeks after he had gifted each person a Rolex President wristwatch, valuing at least $8,000 (N1.5m) each.
It is believed that he posted the messages in an attempt to inform the ‘mole’ that he is aware of what is going on, rather than openly confront the person(s) which may end up causing disunity in the group.
