Beyonce Sued For Allegedly Copying ‘XO’ Song

When sitting on the lofty level of superstardom that Beyonce enjoys, dealing with the ill intent of the steam pressed is a daily duty. The latest drama to swing the diva’s way is a lawsuit from up and coming singer Javon Lane, who is accusing the Grammy winner of stealing his song.

According to TMZ, the unknown is suing Bey for $3 million dollars over the track ‘XO’– which was featured on her groundbreaking visual album. Per the filing, Lane claims he wrote a number named ‘XOXO’ and shared it with another singer who does background vocals for Beyonce, the track supposedly ended up in her hands and a copycat
track emerged.

Whether he’s basing his argument on the song title, concept, or its actual composition has been undetermined as of writing. But, in either case, it’s all sorts of nonsense – especially when comparing both cuts…
