Here’s a look at Last night’s Heineken Lagos Fashion & Designers Week Press Cocktail party at Heineken House in Ikoyi. The event had top fashion celebrities like Noble Igwe, Mai Atafo, Denola Grey, Kelechi Amadi Obi, Oluwatobi Jegede,Bridget Chigbufue, isacc Geralds, Oge Ike, top fashion designers, Bank CEOs, Heineken PR, Fashion and entertainment bloggers. The press briefing kicked off with Mrs Omoyemi Akerele addressing the guests and briefing them about their intentions to make this year’s edition much bigger with the Strong support of their long coming sponsors Heineken who has carried the burden of the fashion show year in and year out. She also reflected back to the very first edition which was tough and alot tasking but the will and determination to change lives kept them pushing forward down to this year’s edition which marks the tenth year of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Designers Week.
A couple of other pioneers and cooperate bodies spoke hitting on the fact that they can’t wait for LFDW 2016 to come and be gone. There was much to eat and drink with Heineken cocktails to go round and barbeque chicken and chips. Also the high point of the event was a clue of what is planned for the after party which was revealed that American singer T Pain would be hosting the after party after the event.
