‘Happy’ hitmaker Pharrell Williams continues to ride the wave of success this year.
Fresh from nabbing five nomination sat the American Music Awards 2014, the Neptunes frontman appears a-front of the November (Men’s) issue of EBONY magazine.
The star also gushed about his love for Black women in response to the backlash he received from some for not featuring a darker skinned female on the cover for his album‘G.I.R.L’. “I love Black women. If you don’t think I love Black women, then you don’t understand me. I have obsessed over Black women since the days of Jayne Kennedy, Beverly Peele and Roshumba Williams. Those are the women I daydreamed about growing up.”
